Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Medical Channel Asia (MCA), Asia’s leading digital health media platform, announced the inaugural Connecting Care With Clicks 2024 (CCC 2024) conference. Scheduled for October 12, 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, CCC 2024 aims to bring together over 300 doctors, pharmacists and healthcare professionals to discuss strategies for future-proofing healthcare marketing.

As the leading digital health media platform in Southeast Asia, MCA is launching CCC 2024 to bring together over 400 healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, and more to discuss the latest digital marketing strategies and technologies shaping the healthcare industry in Asia.

Attendees will gain insights on topics like the rise of AI, the impact of digital transformation on public health, opportunities in social media patient engagement, and more.

“The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated digital adoption in healthcare at a scale nobody predicted. Our goal with CCC 2024 is to help healthcare providers understand new opportunities to better engage and educate patients through digital platforms and social media,” said Evelyn Yap, Organising Chair of CCC 2024.

The conference programme includes keynote presentations, panel discussions and case studies led by prominent Malaysian healthcare professionals, leaders, and social media medical influencers. Confirmed speakers includes Dr Mahesh Appannan, Head of Digital Health, MOH Malaysia, viral social media medical influencers such as Dato Dr. Tikfu Gee (@drtikfugee), a pioneer in bariatric surgery; Dr. Ingky Lim (@dr_ingky), founder of Malaysia’s first digital skin clinic and viral TikTok medi-influencer; and Dr. Amanda Elli (@dr_princessamandaelli), a popular medical influencer on Instagram affectionately known as ‘Dr. Unicorn’.

Participants will also be able to experience a hands-on social media workshops segment, and network with hundreds of medical peers looking to venture into and navigate the intricate landscape of medical marketing in Malaysia.

Medical Channel Asia Head of Medical Affairs, Dr Yusof bin Ahmad Khairuddin added, “As a leading voice in Asian healthcare, we’re committed to fueling collaboration and knowledge-sharing. This conference will establish an important forum for charting the future together.”
